The London based designer Athena Procopiou has launched her first collection of scarves for autumn/winter 2010/11. Her strong monochrome designs really show her educational background - she studied graphic design and illustration at Central St. Martins - as well as her love for grunge and rock attitude.
My favourite, as you might have guessed, is the scarf with crows and trees printed on. Brilliant!

Is it too early to buy shoes for autumn? Well, it's been raining all of yesterday and all of today, maybe that's why I could not resist these beautiful suede ankle boots (by Cox) when I went into the city this afternoon to get a Diana film developed (they don't develop films in shoe shops? - Well!). And, you know what, they're very comfortable. I cannot wait to wear them with dresses, skinny jeans, shorts, ... I've got a feeling they'll look good with anything.
I usually prefer smooth leather (because I think it might be less damageable), but these are actually my third pair of suede heels.
What else am I wearing? A scarf from LalaBerlin, a men's denim shirt, a belt from Topshop.

Some things that I currently have a crush on: skinny jeans by Acne, silk shirt by Topshop, tye dye tank by Proenza Schouler, bag by Liebeskind Berlin, shoes by Sam Edelman available through Solestruck (god, I love them!), necklace by Kenneth Jay Lane available through Net-a-porter.
The illustration is by Tina Berning.

I hope you have all heard of Clare Owen. She's a freelance illustrator from Cornwall and immensely talented. I love the subtle colours and delicate lines of her drawings. Oh, I wish one of her illustrations decorated my bedroom wall.
Visit her blog and Etsy shop!
All of the above pictures belong to Clare.

When reading the summer 2010 issue of i-D I immediately fell in love with the photos from "Meet me at the corner". Not only are the models, Behati Prinsloo and Jamie Strachan, incredibly sexy but you can really feel the attraction between them through the pictures. The story was done in collaboration with the corner.com and you can also watch an accompanying video on the i-D website.
Pictures taken from here.

I like the new Rocco Bag by Alexander Wang SO much that I had to create a collage for it. Here's what I'd wear with it: maxi dress by Topshop, or the bleach batik "Alice dress" by Rika, silver and leather bracelets by Maria Rudman via Feathers (I love them!), bird print scarf by Lily and Lionel , sandals by Cox via Goertz, and, obviously, black sunglasses.

A friend just introduced me to the French artist Sandrine Estrade Boulet. I like her work - It kind of reminds me of "Faces" by Francois Robert et Jean Robert. I've been meaning to do a similar project for ages, but I don't always carry my camera with me. Maybe I'll show you my photos of "faces" some time. Anyway, you should definitely try it! It's so much fun!
